We all know the pains of travelling through DragonFable: Difficult paths, unwanted enemies, and, above all, the fact that it takes FOREVER to get to and from your favourite towns! Well, I have a few quick alternatives. MAKE SURE you have set FalconReach, Oaklore, or desired town as your Home Town before travelling; otherwise, it'll be difficult to get back!
There are 4 easy-to-find gryphons that I know of in DragonFable.
1. Start in FalconReach.
2. Go up from the place between the weapon shop and the inn.
3. Keep going west until you find yourself at the base of a floating path.
4. Continue up the path. When you find the second path straight ahead, just keep on walking.
5. You should now be on a floating island-type-thingy.
6. Walk past the cool castle building (You could explore it later!) to the east of it.
7. Wow! Look at that gryphon! You will see a winged beast and a flight map. Select any area you would like to visit. When you wish to return to your Home Town, simply open your quest log/options menu at the bottom of your game screen. Select the "Home Town" option and you'll be there in the blink of an eye!
Second Gryphon:
This guy is easy to find. I think he comes in handy when I'm near the Warlic's Tent and surrounding areas. But I'm going to give you directions that start in FalconReach, just in case you don't know where the Warlic resides!
1. Go west until you reach the two signs labeled "SureWould" and "That-a-Way".
2. Turn into SureWould ( the top path).
3. Just above you, you will see two more signs: "Warlic", pointing up, and "FalconReach", pointing down. go up and take the Warlic path.
4. (I love the music at this part! ^-^) There is only one way to go that will take you onward; just go up through the path. You will pass a man with many things on his back. Just keep walking, he isn't really important.
5. Skip VertRoche Crossing (The little path past the sign with a house on it). Go up the other path above VertRoche.
6. There's an interesting little thing at the start of this plain path: Move your mouse around until you see "Move bushes" as an option. I've climbed down before and all there is at the bottom of the well is a chest. You can pick the lock, but I haven't bothered. Just.. don't mind the well. Keep going.
7. Don't go into the clearing halfway through this little path. Keep going straight!
8. I see you've come to a split path with signs: "Warlic, FalconReach, Lymcrest". Go straight ahead.
9. There's Lymcrest, right above! But right now isn't the time to explore it, unless you would like to pause your journey and have a look around. Go past the traveler.
10. Hmm... Three new paths. These COULD be confusing, but since I'm telling you how to get there... You trust me, right? xD Just take the path above you.
11. Nothing to see here... Keep going. Nw, you see that boarded up house? It's useless. Keep going!
12. WE'RE HERE! Note that this gryphon will fly you to DragesVard. It's kinda useless since you can use the other gryphon, right? :) Heh...
The third gryphon is in DragesVard. Unless you're in a hurry, take your time here! DragesVard is an awesome place to visit or live. When you're done exploring, go west from where you started. Ta-da! Here's the list of places this guy can take you (Some have recommendations and activities listed by me!):
FalconReach
Oaklore
The Necropolis (I am only a level 12, and you need to be level 15 to enter; however, Artix is a great fighter! When you get there you can invite him to join you.)
The Sandsea (I don' go here much. I find it frustrating and boring, but... Your choice.)
Osprey Cove (This is, like, my all-time fave place to visit! There's a hair salon with exclusive hairstyles and some really fun quests!! :D PLEASE GO!)
Shadow of the Wind Village (I've only come here twice. Buuuuut they sell extremely cool swords here, and you can do ninja training or something. I dunno. Check it out and tell me more!)
Aeris Battlespire- PVP (It's just fun. I mean, DUH! Want an easy guy to beat? type in 9034 as an ID.)
The very last one is a mechagryphon that resides in Popsprocket. Just go west and you'll find it!
Thanks for reading my post! Until next time, you little adventurers, you!
